Overlap your mop strokes to ensure that no area of the floor is missed while cleaning. Its many uses include mopping your tile or vinyl floors. Next dip your mop into the mop bucket and be sure to wring it thoroughly. Sweep or vacuum your tile floors regularly to keep them from getting dull.

Let two teabags steep in the boiling water for a few minutes. Stay away from metal brushes as this can scratch your tile and pull out grout. After it sits scrub at the grout with the grout brush or another stiff brush. Clean tile with mild detergent and clean water using a rag or chamois type mop rather than a sponge mop.

Use boiling water and two teabags to clean hardwood floors. Do not use vinegar or chemicals on granite or marble tile floors. Pour the tea into a bucket. The tannic acid in tea creates a beautiful shine for hardwood floors.

Ceramic tiles may be resistant to dirt but sand and grit can dull the glazed surfaces. Squeeze this mixture onto the grout that needs cleaning and let it sit for five to seven minutes. Spray the solution onto the stain and let it sit for several minutes. These mops are best for cleaning tile because sponge mops tend to push dirty.

After sweeping up the sawdust pour soda on the entire area. If you have already used sawdust or kitty litter to absorb oil stains you can use soda to clean up everything that remains. You can add more or less to the water based on your preference. Choose the right floor mop.

For a superior concrete floor cleaner you can use soda. Instead use a mild ph neutral cleaner that won t streak or discolor the tile. With two buckets a mop and a little elbow grease even the worst spills are easily cleaned with only 1 4 cup of laundry detergent. A large bottle of liquid laundry detergent fulfills most of your cleaning needs.

Allow the floor to air dry. Mix all three ingredients together in a small squeeze top container. You begin the process by filling a bucket with warm water. Avoid cleaning products that contain lemon vinegar or other acidic substances.

For tough set in stains mix water and 2 tablespoons of liquid laundry detergent together in a spray bottle. Place cup of vinegar in the large mop bucket which now has warm water in it. Allow the floor to air dry. Use a bristle broom to work the soda into the ground before letting it sit for 20 minutes.

How often you clean and reseal will largely depend on the conditions the concrete is exposed to especially weather extremes sunlight intensity and the amount of foot or vehicle traffic. Before cleaning sweep stone tile floors with a soft broom as rougher brooms can leave scratches. Clean up loose debris. Cleaning your concrete periodically and keeping it sealed with the right concrete sealers are the key components of any good maintenance program.
