Use two pair of vice grips or two c clamps to clamp the track below the roller.
Spot the bar that runs parallel to the top of the garage door and has 2 springs on it.
To keep the door from falling it must be clamped to hold it in place.

Locate the torsion springs on the bar above the garage door.
Push the door up as far as you can to release the tension on the springs.
